As the Samsung‘s flagship Galaxy S4 started rolling out globally, Samsung has also reported to also launch an smaller version of its flagship smartphone. Reports has claimed that Samsung is preparing at least two variants of its rumored Galaxy S4 Mini.
A report from SamMobile, which also has reported many leaks about Samsung, says that Samsung is working with Galaxy S4 Zoom. Reportedly, the phone will feature a 16MP autofocus camera with optical image stabilisation and 10X optical zoom, as the name suggests, the original Galaxy S4 comes with an 13MP camera, the company is looking to give users an ultimate smartphone camera experience by offering the highest resolution in a smartphone in its portfolio. In comparison, other Samsung devices such as Galaxy Note II and Galaxy S III feature 8MP units.
The reports claims that the Galaxy S4 Zoom will come with a 4.3-inch display with 960x540p resolution and 256ppi pixel density. It will come with 8GB of internal storage, and can be further expandable upto 64FB via microSD card. The phone will run full flavoured Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS with TouchWiz Nature UX. In connectivity, the phone includes Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi with White and Black color options. While there are no expectations and rumors about the Processor and RAM for the device.
According to the above report, the phone’s code name is SM-C1010. The Bluetooth certification documents suggests that Samsung’s announced phone comes with the code name SM-C101 that features Bluetooth 4.0.
The rumors also claims that the smaller version Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will also come with the new Zoom variant. The phone would run on a 1.6GHz dual-core processor and it is rumored to have manufacturer’s proprietary Nature UX 2.0 over the stock operating system. The South Korean smartphone maker is rumored to launch both dual SIM and single SIM variants of its Galaxy S4 Mini. The phone will launch globally in June or July this year, says a report.
Another smartphone that currently in working is the rude version of its Galaxy S4. During an interview, Samsung Gulf president Young Soo Kim has revealed that the company is working with an dustproof, waterproof variant of the current flagship model that will be announced in a few weeks. Currently, Samsung offering only the mid range of its rude phones under the Galaxy Xcover series. Sony has only the device with top specs that is dust-proof and water resistant.
