The biggest smartphone maker, Samsung has set to launch a new tablet, an executive from the company reports that the company will unveil a smaller version of its Galaxy Note 10.1 , called the Galaxy Note 8, tablet at the trade show next month, the Korean news site reports, the company has officially launch tablet as an competitor of Apple’s iPad mini.
Samsung mobile business president, the Jong-Kyun Shin has told some reports that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be fully launch at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, at the end of February. It seems that, the tablet will features an 8-inch screen, which is similar to the iPad mini (which sports a 7.9-inch) as opposed to the Samsung;s 7-inch Galaxy Tab 2 7.0
The company has not announced any of the features and specs about the new upcoming device, and will include the Note trademark, the Stylus. Once the company start providing the Stylus, it becomes part of Samsung Note series devices, it cam translate handwriting to text and preview emails by hovering the subject line in the inbox.
Samsung has already launched some Note devices which boasts great features, including the 10.1-inch Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet and 5.6-inch Galaxy Note II smartphone. And recently, Samsung has also released an Jelly Bean update for the Note 10.1. While Note II currently offers the Jelly Bean OS, and the original note will not get the update currently, but will soon.
The rumored flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S IV, may appear at the MWC 2013, if yes, it will be surprising, previously Samsung has launches all its Galaxy phones at the standalone events. In earlier year, the company also launches its Galaxy S III as an flagship smartphone.
